Nine years as an Instructor for the University of Central Florida College of Business teaching Human Resources, Management, and Career Development
Currently, Lonny is teaching a series of unique career development classes required for all undergraduate business students. These classes mix prescribed conceptual foundations in relationship building and networking with extra-curricular activity requirements. With over 4000 students every semester, Lonny knows finding your dream job and launching a successful career isn’t a “one size fits all” endeavor. Students learn valuable scheduling, decision making, and problem solving skills by being responsible for their own professional development. Last year students in the College of Business completed over 50,000 unique career development activities including job shadows, internships, workshops, networking events, conferences, and campus speakers.
Because students can feel intimidated by professional events, Lonny created a behavioral guide to networking that will help you feel more comfortable and connect better at networking events.
