Dr. Leslie A. Miller is an organizational psychologist and the founder/principal consultant of LanneM TM, LLC.  Leslie has more than 20 years experience helping private and public educational and business organizations select and develop the talent needed to foster employee and organizational success.  Passionate about the field of psychometrics, Leslie has worked with hundreds of organizations and thousands of individuals to design and implement testing, measurement, and assessment strategies.

She began her career as a Department of Labor Senior Research Psychologist, conducting primary research on behavioral science issues relevant to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ mission. She has also served as a member of the organizational behavior faculty at Rollins College in Winter Park Florida, as the Director of Assessment and Measurement at Wilson Learning Corporation, and as the executive director of the University of Phoenix Research Institute. As an active researcher, Leslie served as lead researcher to develop the foundation for several industry competency models housed within the Department of Labor’s Competency Model Clearinghouse at CareerOneStop.  Loving writing, she recently published the 6th edition of her college textbook—Foundations of Psychological Testing: A Practical Approach—for which she received the prestigious SAGE Cornerstone Author Award, and in 2020 will publish an invited chapter on psychological assessment in Springer’s new International Handbook of Psychology Learning and Teaching.  Dr. Miller currently serves as faculty at the University of Oklahoma and Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida
